Unifi expects slow internet connection speed to be fixed by evening time

If you are still experiencing slow internet connection speeds from Unifi, you're not alone. Apparently, Unifi is experiencing a submarine cable fault and it's going to take a while for this issue to be sorted out.

On its Twitter X post, Unifi said its team is already working to address the issue. So for the time being, your Unifi connection speed has been optimised until the submarine cable is fixed. Unifi is expecting the recovery to be completed by 6 PM today, but as a rule of thumb, we can always expect it a bit later.

For now, we think it's best to use your non-Unifi mobile internet data as a hotspot for your devices at home or the office. Stay safe and have a good Friday evening later.
