If you are having trouble connecting to specific website and services as of late, we may have found the reason why. Based on a report by Amanz, Telekom Malaysia has recently mentioned that the APCN-2 submarine cable that connections Malaysia to other regions such as China, Japan, Taiwan, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, and more has been damaged.
With that said, you may find that some services may not be accessible or you may experience higher latency if they are hosted in the locations mentioned above. While repairs are currently underway, there is no official information in regards to when it will be fully resolved.
