Huawei has been quiet on the entry-level or mid-range side in recent months, but the company may have a new one that's on the way. Sources have found a new device being certified recently, which means that it could be getting ready for an upcoming launch.

According to Nashville Chatter, the details for a Huawei PKU-AL40 device has been spotted on TENAA. It features a chipset with an 8-core CPU clocked at 1.8GHz, up to 6GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of storage. There's also a 4900mAh battery, which is pretty large. The design of the phone reminds us of the Nova 8 SE. However, the model number is different, so it could be a new series.

In terms of features, the ones revealed so far include the microSD card and Bluetooth 5.0 support. For the display, it has a 6.5-inch LCD with a maximum resolution is only 1600 x 720 pixels. As for the cameras, it seems to have a triple camera setup (13MP+8MP+2MP) at the back and a single 5MP front camera.

Currently, the actual chipset, price, and key features of the phone are still unknown. However, Huawei will probably launch this within Q2 2021.
