LG smartphones don't see a lot of attention in Malaysia, but that's not to say that they're bad. The biggest problem with the brand is that it doesn't do enough marketing here and their phones don't stand out enough in a saturated Malaysian smartphone market. But the company's next smartphone may win it some fans thanks to a new design.

The theme for LG's next device seems to be minimalist. It supposedly draws inspiration from nature, which would make it different from the competition out there. Specifically, LG has designed it to have a 'raindrop' cameras, a triple-camera setup with an LED flash that jut out from the phone's body. This is in contrast with the large square or oval camera 'blocks' that we see these days, where the cameras sit flushed inside a protective glass casing.

Besides that, the phone will come with symmetrical curves for the front and back. Calling it the 3D Arc Design, LG says that this will create a more natural feel for the device as compared to previous LG smartphones. This design means that there are less sharp corners or edges while being more comfortable to hold in the hand.

To be honest, LG's press statement isn't very forthcoming with details and the image is only a rough sketch of what the device may look like. Regardless, we're already keen to see designs that are different from the norm. With that said, what are your thoughts on this design?
