UPDATE: We have received a statement from Maxis that the line is restored. In their statement, they said "We would like to update our customers who were experiencing network disruptions earlier, that services are being restored gradually, and expect full restoration soon. We would like to once again thank our customers for their understanding and patience."
Yup, you're not alone. Maxis' Internet mobile data service is currently down. That said, it's not entirely the whole network as not everyone is experiencing the issue as we speak.
From our side, half of our members still have a 4G network using Maxis while others don't even in the same area. Some Hotlink users aren't experiencing the disrupted service but one of our members is in other areas. On the other hand, a trip to the Twitter page will let you see how many Maxis users are sharing their frustration with the disrupted service.
Maxis is aware of this matter and replied to the users online that there are some technical glitches. The team is working to restore the service back online and it may take up to 4-6 hours depending on the condition. We will be keeping an eye out on this to see when it finally restores back.
