Editor's Note - The "leaked" invite turned out to be a fake because this guy had nothing else to do
As per tradition, the annual Apple Event for the next-gen iPhone will happen in September. While Apple hasn't made an official announcement yet, a leaked invite is going around on Twitter X.
According to @MajinBuOfficial, an anonymous source sent him a leaked Apple Event that could be held on 10 September 2024. If that should be true, then we are just three away from checking out the upcoming iPhone 16 Series. The image also shows an alleged new colour theme for the device this year, dubbed "Desert Titanium", while the tagline reads "Ready. Set. Capture", referencing the new capture button function.
According to what I was told by a source who asked to remain anonymous, the new Apple event where the iPhone 16 will be presented, will be held on September 10 2024.

But since there is no official announcement yet, we can take this "leaked invite" with a pinch of salt. However, the new rumours surfacing online regarding the new Desert Titanium colour are consistent. There were a couple of iPhone 16 dummies online showing the colour, albeit it looks more brown instead of that gold vibe.
Meanwhile, the capture button rumour has been around for a few months which is said to be exclusive to the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. Besides the upcoming iPhone 16 series, rumours are also suggesting a new pair of Apple AirPods will launch at the event. I guess the only way to find out is to wait and see.
