Looks like Upin & Ipin fans are in for a treat. Recently, Les’ Copaque Production Sdn Bhd announced it will open the Upin & Ipin theme park soon. So, what should you know about it?
A celebration for its 20th anniversary
For your information, the theme park will be launched at the LC Xpo 2025 event to celebrate Upin & Ipin's 20th anniversary. It was developed through a collaboration between Les' Copaque Production Sdn Bhd and Kings' Park Management Sdn. Bhd.
Moreover, this collaboration marks a major leap in the Malaysian edutainment landscape, promising a world-class destination designed specifically for families, children and fans of all ages. The construction and opening date of the Upin & Ipin Theme at King's Park, Genting Highland, has yet to be announced.
In addition, the theme park to be developed will feature immersive attractions inspired by Malaysia's most iconic animated twins, setting a new benchmark for "edutainment" that combines creativity, culture and fun for the whole family.
Previously, Les' Copaque Production had said that the Upin & Ipin Theme Park would be built in Alor Gajah, Melaka at a cost of RM 700 million. Several concept drawings were also shared via the official Instagram page .
Producer and Managing Director of Les' Copaque Production Sdn Bhd, Burhanuddin Md Radzi was quoted as saying that this theme park will open by 2026. Since 2018, Les' Copaque Production has been offered several plots of land including at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), Sepang; Ipoh, Johor Bahru and Negeri Sembilan.
