Most of you are no strangers to wild marketing claims, but the one from Urbanista may just take the cake. The audio brand is looking to launch a new wireless headphone model soon. Interestingly, they claim that it'll give you "virtually infinite playtime".

In a teaser video, the Urbanista Los Angeles was introduced as a pair of solar-powered headphones. According to Wired UK, the headphone uses Powerfoyle solar cell material to charge itself with sunlight. Allegedly, you just need one hour out in the sun for about 3 hours of playtime, or 2 hours if you're indoors. Overall, its 750mAh battery is supposed to give you up to 50 hours of battery life.

In terms of specs, the Urbanista Los Angeles comes with a pair of 40mm neodymium drivers that have a frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz. It also comes with Active Noise Cancelling (ANC), ambient sound mode, and support for Google Assistant and Apple Siri. If you want to charge it at night, there's also a standard USB-C connector.

This new headphone is expected to retail for GBP 169 (~RM960), though it's not actually purchasable yet. But what do you think about it so far, would you pay the extra premium for a pair of self-charging headphones? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
