Smart home appliance leader, VIOMI, has officially launched its latest innovation—the AI Water Purifier Inno—in Malaysia from China, marking a major step forward in intelligent hydration technology. The unveiling event, held at Bamboo Hills on 30 October 2025, featured Malaysian singer-songwriter Shila Amzah, who was announced as VIOMI Malaysia’s brand ambassador.

What's Different About the AI Water Purifier Inno?

The Inno purifier introduces a new standard for healthy drinking water, enriched with strontium, a trace mineral known to support bone density and cardiovascular health. Each litre of purified water contains over 0.4mg of strontium, making it ideal for families, especially those with growing children.

VIOMI’s advanced multi-stage filtration system removes heavy metals, bacteria, and microplastics, while its UV sterilisation ensures every drop is clean and safe. With a total purification capacity of up to 3600 litres, the Inno helps households reduce plastic waste, equivalent to saving over 7000 bottles.

AI Meets Eco-Conscious Design

The Inno’s ultra-slim, tankless build (just 13cm wide) is designed for modern kitchens, combining minimalist aesthetics with powerful performance. Users can monitor water quality, filter lifespan, and temperature in real time via the VIOMI mobile app, which also supports remote cooling and precise temperature control, perfect for tea, coffee, or baby formula.

Filter replacements are tool-free, making maintenance simple and user-friendly. The purifier also comes with a two-year warranty, free delivery, and installation service across Malaysia.

Localised Innovation for Malaysian Water Challenges

Before entering the Malaysian market, VIOMI conducted extensive research into local water quality issues, including source pollution, plastic contamination, and microbial presence. The Inno was engineered with enhanced adaptability to meet these challenges head-on.

VIOMI Founder and CEO Xiaoping Chen emphasised the brand’s commitment to Southeast Asia, noting that VIOMI has already served over 10 million households globally. “We believe every household deserves access to safer, healthier water,” Chen said.

Shila Amzah echoed this sentiment at the launch: “The Inno is not just sleek and smart. It embodies care and technology in every detail, transforming everyday hydration into a moment of wellness.
