Other than that, it is also rumoured that the smartphone manufacturer will be using the panels for the next HONOR Magic series. Now, it is reported that the Visionox's under-screen camera display is ready to enter mass production, so is the upcoming HONOR Magic really going to use it?
We have talked about the challenges faced by under-screen camera technology. It is said that the screen is one of the largest obstructions as it doesn't allow the camera to take pictures with proper quality. However, it looks like Visionox has finally figured out a solution by using the transparent OLED panels. The company mentioned that it has achieved a good result in balancing the display quality and photographic performance.
Some smartphone brands have showcased their devices with the under-screen camera technology but none of them have made it into the market. It was also predicted that 2020 is not the year for us to get the much-anticipated technology. Therefore, we shouldn't keep our hopes high although the panels are ready to be mass produced.
