Vivo Apex spotted on FIFA 2018 World Cup advert + Planned to start production of the Apex mid-2018

The ultra thin bezel Vivo APEX has been spotted in a FIFA 2018 World Cup advertisement, showcasing that the device does indeed have more than 90% screen-to-body ratio as well as an in-display fingerprint scanner which covers a much larger area compared to previous Vivo phones. The device does not have a display notch which usually houses the camera, but instead the camera slides out from behind the display whenever it is needed.

Vivo will be holding an event in Shanghai, China on 12 June 2018 in which they might introduce the market ready Vivo Apex. The smartphone manufacturer mentioned that they plan to start mass production of the Apex somewhere around mid-2018, do take this information with a grain of salt as there is no official confirmation on this statement yet.
