We have already told you about the vivo V5Plus Matte Black edition, now the V5s Matte Black edition will be coming as well on 17 June 2017 for the same price of RM1299. Although it’s marketed as the #PerfectSelfie smartphone, the V5s also features a HiFi audio chipset which is great not only for the selfie lovers, but the music lovers as well.
With an AK4376 chipset built inside the V5s, the phone is able to deliver good sound clarity and quality. So for a smartphone with a compact DAC with a headphone amplifier, it offers respectable performance that most smartphones don't have. Aside from that, the V5s retains most of the tech-specs as the V5 such as the Sony 20MP IMX376 front camera, updated Selfie Softlight technology, Mediatek MT6750 processor, and has a memory upgrade of 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM capacity (including an expandable memory up to 256GB).
Also just a reminder, the trading / rebate promotion is still on-going until the end of June, where customers can visit any vivo concept store in Malaysia and trade-in their old smartphone or cellphone (like dumbphones or feature phones) and get a rebate of RM100 when purchasing the V5Plus, V5 or Y66 (while stocks last).
