Today, we just got some news that the Vivo S1 smartphone, the one that Vivo Malaysia has been hyping about for a few days in a row, just got certified from SIRIM and with this, it's very likely the smartphone will be released within this month soon. And on top of that, we also got some juicy news on the tech specs.

Thanks to the source from India, the S1 will also be released in that country and it appears to feature mid-range tech specs. It has a MediaTek Helio P65 chipset, with either a 4GB or 6GB of RAM, 128GB storage, an in-display fingerprint sensor on the 6.39-inch FHD AMOLED display, as well as the 32MP front camera on the top notch, whereas the triple rear camera is a 16MP + 8MP (ultra wide-angle) + 2MP (depth sensor) combo, and finally, a 4500mAh battery with dual-engine fast charging technology.

According to the retail box, the Vivo S1 is priced at 20,000 Rupee (~RM 1197) and it's expected to launch in early August for the India market. Also, we also learn that S1 international model is completely different from the one in China, which has the same name. Why did they decide to do this is confusing, but that's what it is.
