Vivo Z5 launched with Snapdragon 712 and reverse charging from ~RM962

Over in China, vivo has introduced a brand new addition to their Z series - The vivo Z5. The device features the Snapdragon 712 chipset and a 48MP main sensor for the triple rear camera setup. The vivo Z5 is priced from 1598 Yuan (~RM1598).

The smartphone comes with tech specs that include a 6.38 inch Super AMOLED display with waterdrop notch, an in-display fingerprint reader, the Snapdragon 712 chipset, 6GB / 8GB RAM + 64GB / 128GB / 256GB internal storage, 4500mAh battery capacity with 22.5W fast charging support. Speaking of charging, the device also comes with reverse charging (that’s pretty cool).

For the camera, you can find a triple rear camera setup with 48MP + 8MP (wide angle) + 2MP (depth) sensors whereas the selfie camera is 32MP. If you’re the type that loves night photography, the device also comes with its own night mode. 

You can find the device in 3 colours which are Aurora Illusion, Holographic Illusion and Bamboo Forest Night. As for the price, the 6GB + 64GB variant is priced at 1598 Yuan (~RM962), the 6GB + 128GB variant at 1898 Yuan (~RM1142), the 6GB + 256GB variant at 1998 Yuan (~RM1202) and the 8GB + 128GB variant at 2298 Yuan (~RM1383).
