Vivo unveiled the Time Of Flight 3D sensing technology which aims to improve various features such as facial recognition, gesture controls, motion recognition, 3D photography and lastly, augmented reality.
The Time Of Flight 3D sensing technology is able to capture 300000 sensor points, significantly increasing the data resolution to will be processed by the device that it is integrated in. Not only that, the TOF 3D sensing technology is also simpler and smaller giving it the flexibility allowing it to be integrated into more devices than previous technologies could. The first device that comes integrated with the TOF 3D sensing technology which is the Vivo NEX A and Vivo NEX S which will be launched in Malaysia in the near future.
