Today, Apple announced that the annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) is happening from the 9th to the 13th of June 2025. Besides watching the event online, developers and students will also have the chance to attend the special event at Apple Park.
As usual, WWDC25 is available for free to all developers. For the uninitiated, Apple will announce the latest software updates for all Apple devices, including iOS, iPadOS, macOS and others. Developers and students will be able to discover the latest Apple software and technologies by tuning in to the Keynote. They can also experience WWDC25 throughout the week on the Apple Developer app, Apple Developer website, and Apple Developer YouTube channel.
In addition, the annual Swift Student Challenge will take place during the event. This programme is Apple's initiative to uplift the next generation of entrepreneurs, coders, and designers. Applicants who submit their forms will be notified on 27 March 2025, and winners will be eligible to apply for the special event at Apple Park. 50 Distinguished Winners, who are recognised for outstanding submissions, will be invited to Cupertino, California, for a three-day experience.
There are less than three months to go until the WWDC25 so until then, we will have to wait and see what the latest updates are for iOS 19 and others. Stay tuned for our official news coverage at TechNave.com.
