Waze introduced a new function in the US, as well as Canada, which allows the user to see the price of a toll along the route to their destination. Not only is this informative, but it could help drivers plan out their expenses while driving on the road.
Based on a statement by the Waze team, they utilized a form of crowdsourcing method in order to get the toll fees for a specified location. In addition to that, there will also be volunteer editors who will ensure that the pricing of the toll remains accurate.
