In case you missed it, Waze 'app-arently' went haywire last night when its language setting switched to Hebrew, Arabic, Russian and Spanish. It was only a matter of moments before the memes flooded Twitter X but the issue has already been fixed.

The company has not yet made an official statement, so many users suspected Waze got hacked. However, a Waze spokesperson allegedly told The Sun it wasn't the case. In fact, it was an internal bug that somehow caused the language setting to change. Waze was aware of the issue last night and has quickly resolved the issue.

Besides Malaysia, Waze users from other countries such as the US, the UK, France and Indonesia also experienced the same thing. Anyway, if you are curious about how it went, you can check out some reactions from various users around the world right here. Thankfully, everything is back to normal now.
