We could see ad-free Instagram and Facebook soon

If you are an avid user of Instagram and Facebook, this news might excite you. Meta is considering an ad-free plan for these apps soon. That said, what should you know about it?

However, these plans are limited to European markets now. According to The New York Times, the company plans to offer a paid version for Facebook and Instagram. That is a response to regulatory scrutiny in Europe.

As of now, the plan is still in its infancy. However, we can expect it to remove all traces of ads in the apps. On top of that, the paid plan could provide you with an alternative to Meta’s ad-based services, reducing privacy concerns and regulatory scrutiny from the EU. Again, this is relevant if you are based in Europe.

We have yet to confirm other details for the Malaysian market. However, we could expect these plans to arrive soon if everything goes well in Europe. That said, you might want to save up if you plan on getting a paid plan for one of these apps.
