Based on a statement by wabetainfo.com, it seems that WhatsApp could soon have a feature called “Expiring media” sometime in the near future which could allow users to send pictures and video that expire after a certain duration. While not much is known in regards to when this feature will be rolled out to the masses, our source also mentioned that it might also notify the sender if the recipient were to screenshot the sent media.
Do take some of the information with a grain of salt, due to the fact that Facebook has yet to provide an official statement on the leaked info. Not only that, but there’s also no news on the Malaysia release date, as well as which operating system it’ll be available on.
