Based on a report by thestar.com.my, there will be a feature that will be included in a future called Authentication, which will stop users from taking screenshots of conversations that are determined by the user. That being said, if the other user does not enable the aforementioned feature, they will still be able to take screenshots of the the private chat.
I’m pretty sure once the feature has been finalized and ready for deployment, the feature will then block users from both ends from taking screenshots of their app. WaBetaInfo has yet to provide any information on when this feature will go public, and how it would affect us.
