If you have been keeping up with WhatsApp updates, you would that the platform is already working on a data transfer and multi-device feature between Android and iOS. For the latter, it was announced by WABetaInfo on Twitter that the WhatsApp development team is already working on multi-device 2.0 that can link an iPad and Android tablets as newly linked devices.

What's even more interesting, though, is that WhatsApp for iPad won't be a web app but a native app instead. In their own words, WhatsApp for iPad will work independently so that's something to look forward to. We think Android tablets could have something similar as well.

Moreover, if you want to participate in the WhatsApp for iPad beta, you can do so if you already have the WhatsApp beta for iOS. There are no words about beta testings for Android tablets, though. The WhatsApp team has been working on this feature for months so we will just have to wait and see.

In this day and age, many people tend to have more than one device which consists of a mix of iOS and Android platforms. This is a great time now, even more so than when the world is working from home. Until then, stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
