New features for WhatsApp Business

According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp recently announced that the next WhatsApp Business update will include features for larger businesses. First, there's an enhanced calling feature for customers to send live call requests to a business or company. The company can then directly speak with the customer to address their inquiries. There are also new voice and video calling options, with the latter being useful when customers need visual demonstrations.

The new voice option is also the foundation for future AI-powered voice support, so don't be surprised if WhatsApp offers customisable chatbots in the future. Speaking of AI, the new update will also have expanded AI support for businesses. This new Business AI can help perform product recommendations, answer customer inquiries, or provide sales support.

Finally, WhatsApp also announced a centralised place for businesses to manage campaigns. According to the source, the Ad Manager allows businesses to create and manage their marketing efforts across three Meta platforms: Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
