WhatsApp is currently testing a new feature that allows you to generate profile pictures and group icons based on artificial intelligence (AI), which is now available to several beta users. So, what should you know about it?
For your information, this feature allows you to generate an image by simply entering a specific description or prompt that can describe the images you want. Unlike regular profile picture options, the feature does not require an existing photo but instead generates a custom image based on the prompt description provided by the user.
To use it, you simply need to open the app settings and select Create AI Image, which allows you to create unique illustrations without using real photos. To create a group icon, you must open the group information page, select Change group icon, and enter a description of the desired theme or concept. The Meta AI system will generate a special image based on the description.
For now, it's only available to iOS beta users with the latest version of WhatsApp. It's expected to arrive in a phased manner for more users in the future.
