Thanks to this feature, you can display avatars alongside their profile photos, which can be activated through special settings in the avatar section. Before adding an avatar, you need to choose a suitable background color as well as avatar animation to make it more attractive.
When someone views a user's profile using an avatar, they will also see an animated coin-shaped effect that rotates between the actual profile photo and the avatar. This concept is similar to what is offered on Instagram.
The feature is available to a select number of beta users with the latest WhatsApp beta update for Android. It is expected to be available to more users in the coming weeks.
