In this upcoming WhatsApp update, WABetainfo.com reported that there would be a new sharing status update of Facebook Story for WhatsApp. Currently available in beta for Android 2.23.9.22 on the Google Play Store, here's what we know so far.
According to the source, the Facebook Story can be automatically updated if the user manually enables it inside the WhatsApp settings. This can be seen in the screenshot below, whereby users have the option to do so in Status privacy. On top of that, you can also choose to share with your contacts or select certain individuals.
Previously, there was a similar feature where users could share status updates but within limitations. There's no word if this new function will be available for iOS users but we think it will, just a bit later since the beta is now on Android. Until then, we just have to wait for the rollout from the WhatsApp team.
