Do you send text messages or prefer leaving voice notes? A lot of WhatsApp users in Malaysia prefer doing the latter, so features related to it are always welcome. Well, the company has been working on a big upgrade for voice messages and it's now available.
According to the announcement, the WhatsApp update will bring six updates to voice messages. This includes Out of Chat Playback, Pause/Resume Recording, Waveform Visualisation, Draft Preview, Remember Playback, and Fast Playback on Forwarded Messages. The app was updated yesterday, so you could probably start using them now.
Anyway, the functions for these are quite obvious. But Draft Preview is personally the one I find most useful, as it lets you check if your voice message is clear enough. Pause/Resume Recording and Remember Playback are also handy, in case you have to leave the chat or get interrupted. You can refer to the announcement for details.
