Recently, WhatsApp has introduced several new features that make the app easier to use. This update not only brings the missed call message function but also adds fun status stickers. So, what should you know about it?
Are we saying goodbye to traditional voicemails?
For your information, missed call messages allow users to record audio or video if a call is not answered, making traditional voicemail irrelevant. In voice chats, users can now give direct reactions (Reactions in voice chats) without interrupting the conversation.
Meanwhile, in video calls, the individual who is speaking will be automatically prioritised (Group call speaker spotlight) to make it easier for all participants to follow the discussion more clearly and in an organised manner.
In addition, the new media tab on the desktop version makes it easier for users to find documents, links and media across conversations in one more organised space, while cleaner link previews have been improved to be simpler and not disrupt the flow of conversations.
Moreover, Status received the addition of new stickers (New stickers on Status), including song lyrics, questions that friends can answer, and interesting stickers that can be used to interact, thus making the experience of using WhatsApp more enjoyable.
For Channels, WhatsApp introduced a Questions on Channels feature that allows admins to connect with their audience more effectively and receive feedback in real time. All of these improvements make the WhatsApp experience more user-friendly.
