WhatsApp is currently developing a new feature that allows users to react to messages and media using stickers . Just like before, the reaction space will still display the default emoji set along with recently used emojis. But interestingly, it will now show the most recent stickers used in the same reaction space. So, what should you know about it?
For your information, WABVBetaInfo reported this new feature is not limited to just suggested or recently used stickers. Instead, users can access all types of available stickers, including those downloaded from the WhatsApp Sticker Store or those previously saved. More interestingly, animated stickers can also be used as reactions to messages and media.
With this feature, reactions will be more 'alive', compared to just using the default emoji on the keyboard. Currently, the feature of reacting to messages and media using stickers is still in development. As always, it is expected to be available in a future update.
