Good news to entrepreneurs who run a business on Facebook, as the company will make business transaction easier soon. The businesses can directly sell their products on WhatsApp and the buyers can directly make an order from there.
Based on the promotion video, you can directly text the seller and check out the catalog on WhatsApp. Besides that, you also can make an order on by adding to the cart as well. According to the sources, WhatsApp has catalog features in the past but it had a limitation on previewing the items if comparing it with Facebook.
Additionally, there’s a Facebook Shops tab which allow the seller to create product catalogs across Facebook and Instagram. Earlier this year, Facebook Pay just began rolling out in Brazil as a test and we think WhatsApp may also do the same.
