According to WhatsApp, the app is rolling out an update that brings several new features to Groups that will reduce confusion and provide reminders. The first feature is different name tags in Groups. So, what should you know about it?

A better way to introduce yourself

For your information, you can put your own name tag, for example, "Maldini's Dad" in your child's school class group to make it easier for teachers or other parents to recognise who you are in a group that contains many members.

Additionally, when you create and send an event in Groups, you can set advanced reminders for invitees. This feature ensures that everyone invited attends an upcoming event or joins a conference call at the right time.

Finally, you can now turn any word into a sticker by typing its text into Sticker Search. Users can also add newly created stickers directly to personal sticker packs. All of these features are available today via the update.
