WhatsApp has been actively bringing more new features to group chats. This time, the platform gets spotted with one that allows group admins to delete any messages for everyone. It is already available for the beta testers, as discovered by WABetaInfo, and it's just a matter of time before it gets pushed out to all.
The feature called 'Admin Delete' aims to help group admins better moderate conversations that can involve up to 256 people. Beta testers who have access to it can delete any recent message from a group in which they are an admin. There will be a "delete for everyone" option in the delete menu popover for them to perform the action. After the message gets deleted, group members will receive a notification that shows a particular group admin removed the message.

In previous updates, WhatsApp users received the privilege to adjust the visibility of their "Last Seen" status on a contact-by-contact basis, plus a way to silently leave group chats without all the group members knowing it. It's unsure when this new one will get released in the stable version, but we'll let you know once we receive the latest update.
