To improve the voice and video calls in WhatsApp for Android further, the WhatsApp team has been working on a new feature to let users share their screen during a video call. It's currently rolled out to beta test in the Google Play Store.

From the screenshot, there will be a new Share Screen button at the bottom when you start a video call. The bottom navigation bar will have a recent minor change, showing Chats, Calls, Communities, and Status. After enabling sharing, everything displayed will be recorded and the recipient can see it from the other end.

During the Share Screen feature, you have total control and stop it at any time. That said, WABetaInfo.com said it probably won't work on outdated and older Android versions as well as large group calls. The WhatsApp beta for this feature is 2.23.11.19, and there's no word if it will be available for iOS users.
