WhatsApp is currently in the midst of rolling out a new feature to all its users that would allow them to chat with themselves. Aptly called ‘Message Yourself’, the feature was previously spotted on the beta version of WhatsApp by WABetaInfo but has now been officially ported to the full version of the messaging app.

As reported by TechCrunch, the Meta-owned messaging platform announced the rollout of the feature yesterday, and it’s now on the way to both the Android and iOS versions of the app. With the feature, users can send notes, reminders, shopping lists and others to themselves on the app.

Now, when creating a new chat, you can choose to send a message to yourself, which will bring out a chat screen that’s similar to when you’re messaging others. Just like other chats, you can also pin the chat to the top of your conversation list so that you can easily notice whatever reminders you’ve messaged yourself with.

If you haven’t gotten the new feature yet, don’t worry as WhatsApp did clarify that it may take weeks for it to be rolled out to all users.
