WhatsApp has been working on the multi-device support that allows users to use the same WhatsApp account on multiple devices. Until now, the messaging platform might be ready to roll it out to the public, as it has started to appear for some beta testers.
WhatsApp with version number 2.22.24.18 has recently become available on the Google Play store. The beta version brings the setting that lets users link a WhatsApp account to an Android tablet or multiple mobile devices at once. Some who joined the beta programme can find the "Linked devices (beta)" option showing up in the options menu under "Linked devices." 'Some' is used as it's not made available to all the beta testers but only selected ones. After tapping on it, users would have to follow the instructions to scan the QR code and link the account with the other devices.
As the feature has made it to beta, let's hope the public release will follow soon. According to the source, it could happen in the next few weeks. Let us know what you think about the news, and stay tuned to TechNave.com for the latest tech report.
