From WhatsApp's latest update, users can now customise their Chat Themes in the settings. To use the new feature, make sure to update your WhatsApp to the latest version on the Apple App or Google Play Store.
After you have updated your latest WhatsApp version, you can just go to Settings > Chats > Default Chat Theme. You can also customise each chat or group chat individually. On iOS, you just have to tap on the chat name at the top of the chat screen and then head over to Chat Theme. If you're using Android, click on the 3-dot menu on top.
In the settings, you can transform your chat bubbles and background into your favourite colours. There is a wide array of wallpapers that are already pre-set but you may choose your own wallpaper or photos from your Photos app. There are 30 new wallpaper options so feel free to mix and match the colours to your liking.
WhatsApp also said that the chat themes are only visible to you, so your friends and family won't know unless you show them. Anyway, have fun with it and Happy Valentine's Day!
