If you work on tablets, you might appreciate the next WhatsApp update for Android. The company announced several new features last month, and the busy month ended with an upcoming update that applies to tablets.

According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp will add the option to toggle side-by-side view on Android tablets in the upcoming version 2.23.9.20 update. This feature lets you switch the UI on WhatsApp, so you can track your list of chat groups and chat rooms simultaneously. This is already on the desktop version, so those who use it should be familiar with it.

Besides this feature, WhatsApp also has other updates lined up for iOS and Android. For iOS, version 23.8.78 lets you limit your polls to a selection per user. This is for instances where you only want one answer to your poll instead of multiple ones. WhatsApp will also add the option to share your status to Facebook in version 2.23.9.22 for Android. Doesn't sound all that useful, but you might want it.

Since WhatsApp is the de facto choice for many Malaysians, it's great to see it updated frequently. But other than the above, what features would you like to see in future updates? Let us know in the comments and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
