If you ever wished you could share a music track with someone during a WhatsApp video call, then your wish may just be granted soon. This is because such a feature is currently in development by the Meta-owned messaging platform.
Specifically, the share music audio during video calls feature was part of the WhatsApp beta for iOS 23.25.10.72 update. Spotted by the good folks at WABetaInfo, the option to share video and music audio together will pop up while the screen-sharing option during video calls is active.
Furthermore, the same feature was also touted to be in development on the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.26.18 update. Hence, we’re expecting the feature to end up in the final version of WhatsApp soon.
