Today, Wiko (yes, they are still around) just announced two new smartphones - the Power U20 and Power U10. If you have been looking for alternative budget-friendly phones, maybe you can consider this as both just cost RM429 and RM379 respectively. To learn more, read on below!
Starting with the Power U20, this big budget-friendly phone features a MediaTek Helio G35 chipset, 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. That's not a lot of spaces but thankfully, you can still add in an external microSD with up to 256GB. The display measures 6.8-inches but it's in HD+ resolution only and you can find a lone 5MP front camera at the top-notch with a Face Unlock function.
Speaking of cameras, the triple rear camera module consists of 13MP (main) + 2MP (depth lens) and an AI lens that assists to capture light. The battery pack is huge, though, with 6000mAh. You can also find a dedicated Google Assistant button at the side and the phone runs on Android 11 out of the box.
Next, the Power U10 has the same screen panel size and resolution as well. However, the power specs are from a lower tier with just an A25 octa-core 1.8GHz processor and 2GB of RAM. The memory is still the same at 32GB with an expandable memory up to 256GB via microSD card, though.
There is just a single 13MP Camera GO edition, even though there is another pair of sensors on the back which helps to do capture light. Other than that, it runs on Android 11 (Go Edition), as well as featuring the same dedicated Google Assistant Button and Face Unlock. The only highlight of this phone is the 5000mAh battery pack.
Both Power U20 and Power U10 come standard with a 1-year warranty and as a bonus, a 1-to-1 exchange warranty within 120 days from the date of purchase (T&C apply).
