Will Malaysia's first 5G smartphone be coming from Huawei? Prime Minister experienced his first 5G Video Call in Putrajaya!

During the 5G Malaysia exhibition which was held in Putrajaya, where various 5G technologies were showcased to the public including an autonomous car, augmented reality, usages in the medical field, and more. The Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dr. Mahathir, also made his rounds at the convention and experienced the various technologies mentioned.

Not only that, but he has also experienced the first 5G Video call that was conducted in Malaysia using the Huawei Mate 20X 5G as well as Huawei’s first foldable smartphone, the Huawei Mate X.

The fact that Huawei has managed to flawlessly conduct a 5G video call in Malaysia, without a single issue shows how ready Huawei’s 5G technology is to be deployed in Malaysia. Based on what we know so far, 5G should be widely available by early 2021.
