OPPO has recently released a short 15-second teaser on their Weibo account, showcasing their new upcoming under-display camera technology. The teaser video showed us a quick rundown of the various methods used by OPPO, in order to incorporate the front-facing selfie camera into the front of their smartphones.

This year, OPPO plans on unveiling their new under-display camera technology at the MWC19 in Shanghai, China from 26 to 28 June 2019. This technology will enable OPPO to have their cameras embedded under the display of a smartphone, negating the need for a notch or a slide up camera mechanism. In addition to that, the new technology will allow for a much higher screen-to-body ratio while also having close to no obstructions on the display.

That being said, not much is known in regards to the tech specs and pricing detail the upcoming OPPO smartphones with the technology fitted in.
