Windows 10's taskbar will get a new feature called "News and Interest" very soon

It seems that a report by techradar seems to hint that Windows 10, will most likely be receiving an update very soon which will add a new feature to the taskbar called “News and Interests” very soon. While not much is known in regards to the exact release date, our source did mention that it will most likely be available somewhere around October 2021 with the Windows 10 Build 21286 update.

To go into more detail regarding the “News and Interest” feature, it seems to be part of the Windows Shell Experience, which means that you won’t be able to disable or uninstall the aforementioned feature. However, it can be hidden simply by right-clicking on it and selecting the “Hide” option so that it will remain hidden until it is turned back on again.

The aforementioned feature will utilize a combination of Bing’s artificial intelligence, as well as machine learning, to pick out stories to suggest to the user based on their interested.
