Some Android phone users may have heard of the Windows Phone Link. It's a function which allows you to connect an Android phone to a Windows 10/11 PC. You can then check your messages, make calls, or access certain apps on your phone via the PC. Soon, iPhone users will have that advantage.

Recently, Microsoft announced that Phone Link will support iPhone users soon. The feature is being tested on the latest Windows Insider Preview Build 4805, so those with access to the beta program can try it now. Like Android users, you can check your iPhone's battery status, enabled connectivity options (Bluetooth), and more.

The company has also confirmed that iPhone users can access features of the Start menu and share files between PC and iPhone. Phone Link normally runs on a separate window, so having a basic Phone Link interface on the Start menu could help make access faster. Of course, you must have a Microsoft account and a PC with Bluetooth LE support.
