As we move towards the end of 2022, Google just released its annual Year in Search 2022 results. Not only is it available globally, but each country gets its own top 10 lists as well. Before we show you Malaysia's top searches in Google, you would be surprised to know that Wordle is actually the most searched word in Google in 2022.
To refresh your mind, Wordle took the world by storm towards the end of 2021 which many people seem to enjoy. You don't need to download an app for that and it's a simple 5 letter word-guessing game. Wordle got popular very fast as friends showed off how fast they could guess the word of the day, as well as being acquired by The New York Times.
Now onto Malaysia, there are several top 10 lists but the rakyat is quite diverse in searching different topics. Many local topics that matter to Malaysians are Bantuan Keluarga Malaysia (#1), MySPR Semak (#2), Keputusan PRU 15 (#4), MyUndi (#5), Peranti Siswa (#7) and of course, Anwer Ibrahim (#8). Wordle also made it to the list at #6, whereas the World Cup 2022 (#3) helps to take our minds off as well as the Mental Age Test (#10).
