World's first 21:9 Acer curved monitor with Eye-Tracking and new Predator Gaming Monitors revealed in CES 2017

Today, Acer has revealed their latest and world’s first 21:9 gaming monitor with Tobii eye-tracking functionality, the 30-inch Predator Z301CT, as well as two Predator XB2 Series models featuring 24.5- and 27-inch flat screens with a blazing fast 240Hz refresh rate. All three models will start selling at North America first for $899.99 (Predator Z301CT, around RM4049), $549.99 (Predator XB252Q, around RM2474), and $679.99 (Predator XB272, around RM3059) in February; followed by EMEA with similar price tag respectively (€899, €599, and €699).

Acer Predator Z301CT – First Curved Monitor with Eye-Tracking

The 30-inch Acer Predator Z301CT was awarded at the CES 2017 as the “Best of Innovations” award in the computer peripherals category, the Tobii eye tracking uses the gamer’s eye movement to create a new immersive experience, as they are able to mimic actions such as looking for cover or aiming at a target. The games’ sounds and graphics will dynamically adapt depending on where the gamers look, supported by the ultra-wide Full HD (2560 X 1080) and 1800R curved screen.

Other key features include:

  • A rapid 200Hz refresh rate and a fast 4ms response time
  • Wide 178 degree viewing angles and an extreme-narrow frame provide maximum viewing area
  • A display that can tilt and swivel from -5° to 25° and reach 4.7 inches (120mm) up and down
  • Two 3W speakers with DTS Sound deliver quality audio

New Predator XB2 Series - Ultrafast 240Hz Refresh Rate

Next, the Predator XB2 Series (24.5-inch Predator XB252Q and 27-inch Predator XB272) feature a NVIDIA ULMB technology, a fast 1ms response time and a rapid 240Hz refresh rate. Accompanied by a Full HD 1080p resolution and a sharp 1,000:1 contrast ratio, the ZeroFrame design is ideal for multi-monitor setups and lets gamers find the perfect viewing position with -5 to 20 degrees tilt, +45 degree swivel, 90 degrees clockwise pivot and height adjustment up to 4.5 inches (115 mm).
