Team 17 recently made an announcement on their Twitter account, stating that the Worms series will be making a comeback somewhere in the year 2020. However, they have not explicitly mentioned what the title of the game will be, as well as which platform it will be on.
To the uninitiated, the Worms series by Team 17 is a turn-based strategy game where the player utilizes a bunch of characters called Worms to eliminate the enemy team. Furthermore, the Worms are equipped with a myriad of weapons that could potentially leave craters around the map.
