Previously, you had to subscribe to the Premium plan to get a blue tick (verification) on your account profile. But now, X has suddenly given a blue mark to accounts that have a high number of followers for verified accounts (blue mark).
This Premium free subscription will be given to accounts with 2,500 verified followers. Additionally, to get a Premium+ subscription for free, an account must have 5,000 total verified followers. Before Musk's takeover, symbols verified on the Twitter platform were commonly used by celebrities, politicians, journalists and other people in the public eye.
Going forward, all accounts with over 2500 verified subscriber followers will get Premium features for free and accounts with over 5000 will get Premium+ for free
