X launches the History tab feature for you to track your favourite content

When going through your feed on X (formerly Twitter), you'll likely encounter posts you like enough to save for later. But even though you can save bookmarks, there isn't a better way to track your favourite content. That's changing with the platform's later History tab.

Tracing your History

Nikita Bier, X's head of product, announced that the new History tab feature is now available for iOS users. As the name implies, the History feature was designed to list all your favourite content. It keeps your bookmarks, videos, articles, and likes within four separate tabs, providing you with a clean and simple way to track them.

Accessing the History tab is simple enough: Swipe from the left to open the menu and look for the History tab, which has replaced the Bookmark tab. Here, you'll find your saved content listed in the four categories mentioned above. As you can tell, the History tab is useful when you find long-form content you like, mostly videos or articles, but don't have the time to go through them at the moment.

Note that the X doesn't currently have a way for you to 'save' videos and articles. Instead, the Videos and Articles section in your History tab is filled based on the videos you've watched and articles you've read. This feature is comparable to a web browser, which keeps track of the URL of all web pages you've visited in a history tab.
