While it is from China, XTU has released their new XTU S7 Pro action camera for USD 159.99 (~RM657) on Amazon US and the official XTU website. Featuring a 1/2-inch Sony CMOS sensor for up to 4K video recording at up to 50 fps with HDR support, dual-screens, Stabilization 5.0, 360-degree horizon correction and Gyroflow support for post processing it should shake up the current market of super expensive action cameras.

A bit more focus on stabilization

While most budget options compromise heavily on stabilization, XTU is trying a different path by integrating hardware and software for Stabilization 5.0 alongside 360-degree horizon correction. It also offers native Gyroflow support for post-processing workflows for smoother footage.

Like a few higher-end action cams, it offers dual-screens with a 2.29-inch rear touchscreen alongside a front display. Connectivity-wise it comes with 5 GHz Wi-Fi 6 and supports voice control, and wireless mics with AI noise reduction. It does cut on the waterproofing though, so you will have to use it with external housing or a case if you want to go diving. There is also no built-in storage, and the 1800 mAh battery is slightly smaller than what you would find on top-tier competitors.
