Earlier this week, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun hinted that a new Xiaomi flagship would be coming in July. While he didn't confirm which device it would be, we're pretty sure it's going to be the Xiaomi 12 Ultra. Now, sources have revealed a possible launch date.
Specifically, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will allegedly be launching on 5 July 2022. As far as we can tell, this launch will be in China, so the global launch should be much later. Moreover, the source claimed that official teasers for the device would start appearing on 28 June 2022. That means you can expect info to be revealed on Xiaomi's Weibo page.

While we don't know the exact specs and features for the phone, the Lei Jun did confirm that the Xiaomi 12 Ultra would feature the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. Using the Xiaomi 12 Pro as a base for comparison, we can also assume that it would have at least 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and possibly a triple 50MP camera setup. Besides that, we expect to see a larger battery (vs 4600mAh) and a bigger display (vs 6.7-inch).
